Pang Oung ปางอุ๋ง จ.แม่ฮ่องสอ Mae Hong Son Thailand

Pang Ung, also spelled Pang Oung, is a tourist attraction in northern Thailand. Located in Mueang Mae Hong Son District, Mae Hong Son province. It is a project of H.M. King Bhumibol Adulyadej, the King wishes to restore the forests and ecosystems around the Patong and Fang Pang Ung reservoirs.

If you travel to Mae Hong Son in the winter, visiting this place is a must! Make sure to arrive as early as 6 am for the spectacular view during rafting. The place is pretty safe, clean, and not too touristy. The staff is well trained and polite. There is a designated camp ground if you're into camping.

Highly recommended place to visit especially in the early morning during winter!
Amazing peaceful place to enjoy a day here, way better and worth coming than Baan Rak Thai. You can enjoy a bamboo rafting (150baht for a raft)ride here on the lake, watching swans swimming along. Accommodation and camps are available here but better book in advance.
If I had a flower for every time I thought of you, I could walk in my garden forever.

The view is breathtaking beautiful and the clear air and chill whether will make you feel so peaceful and fully embrace the beauty of the nature - the pine tree, the crystal clear lake and the greenery view. The weather is quite cold like 5-10 degree so please wear winter wear with full winter gears. The paddling boat cost 150 baht per 2 person which took around 20 ministers. The activity during the sunset is highly recommended! Don’t forget to walk around the lake to enjoy the spectacular different point of views of Pang Oung.

The reservoir is a stunning place to visit.
The mountains around the lake and lush green surrounding make it a breath taking place.
You can take a raft riding as well around the lake which is so exciting.
You will also find the famous black swan there.

The views are good and it's possible to take a boat onto the water. Although I didn't camp there were a lot of tents that looked sturdy. Keep an eye out for the black swans, which seemed to be separated from the rest of the water in their own area.
Every flower is a soul blossoming in nature.

Keep calm and put flowers in your life.

Every flower must first fight through the dirt.
